<br />Within the series of workshops organized by the Department of Medical Labs, a workshop has been arranged for the Fourth Year Students, and delivered by the Department Academics, Dr. Karrar Saleh Mahdi and Eng. Mr. Mostafa Mohammed Hassan. The Workshop has been focusing on<br />“How to Write Graduation Research & the Mechanism of Typesetting References”<br /><br />As a matter of fact, the Students have been introduced to the various styles of writing references in a Graduation Research, with the main focus on APA “American Psychological Association”, being the most appropriate and easiest style for students. Other citation patterns have also been discussed, such as Vancouver and Harvard, the most preferable styles in the Iraqi as well as the other International Universities.<br />Furthermore, the students have been instructed with some detail on how to write the sources inside the Research Body, and managing citations within the different parts of the research. In other words, Students have also been introduced to the mechanism used in organizing the Graduation Research so that Students could be more disciplined and productive when writing their papers. <br />Besides, a scheduled curriculum shall be developed, so that students will manage to successfully write their research chapters, in addition to the Department Plan to organize more workshops in the forthcoming days in order to enable students to have full knowledge on the statistical analysis that is highly required for their Graduation Research.<br /><br />
