" Characteristics of the successful employers in HRM practices "<br /><br />1- Introduction <br /> HR has become an important part of the organization. For long, HR was viewed as an ‘Administrative Department’ doing day to day transactions related to Human Resources. Now, HRM is getting more functions that ensure the efficiency of daily processing. Without any doubt, HRM depends on its employer who operates the functions of HR to facilitate the processing of employees performance. To determine the characteristic of the successful employer, we will spotlight on HRM as well as the traits that characterized them. <br />First of all, we have to define human recourse then illustrate the functions of it in the organization. HR is the policy of organizing people in the firm in a way to enhance their performance effectively and efficiently. Moreover, HR has practiced in the organization such: work redesign, selection, training, job performance, career performance, work appraisal. All these practices HR apply and examine it's in the firm to assure the quality of organization processes.<br />Secondly, regard to the HR practices in an organization. HRM now is representing the backbone of the organization. Its functions have extended not only on employees. Day by day the importance of human resource has escalated. Effective HR influences the employees' performance to do their work efficiently. Therefore, the employer must be characterized by successful traits to ensure high-quality processing for the organization. <br />Thirdly, the foundation of any organization consists of two elements: workforce and financial resource. So, the employee represents the half foundation of the firm. A key success of any organization relates to well-operate for human force.<br /> Finally, modern firms tend to focus more on employees' performance to get competitive advantages. HRM Employer is responsible for processing and maintaining the progress of an organization's operation. We will illustrate the fundamentals traits of the successful employer in HRM. <br /><br />Keywords: human resources management, traits, organization, employers, manager. <br /><br />2- Specific characteristic for HRM manager<br />The characteristics of the successful employer cannot be determined in some traits. Hence, we will shed light on some of this characteristic that considers the fundamentals of HRM managers. These are:<br />I. Personality traits.<br />II. Management skills.<br />III. Technical skills.<br />IV. Challenges.<br />V. Education. <br />Through these attributes, the manager can tackle the challenges face their organization. If we go in details through these characteristic, we will find them necessary for any manager who operates in HRM.<br /><br />Attributes <br /><br />I. Personality traits<br />A manager is a person who directs the organization and all departments. Whenever it goes down or up, the manager is the person who should guide his employees to the safe. In term of HR managing, the employer is operating such an important department which deals with human beings. Such traits must employer characterize are Honesty, ethics, discretion and fair-mindedness rank high among the personal attributes needed to succeed in human resources.1 these traits guide the manager to the proper decision. Moreover leadership, common sense, effective communicator, cool under pressure and great planner these are essential for HR manager.2 leadership is necessary for the employer, which, allows him to lead his employees effectively. In contrast, an employer cannot perform well if he has no sense for leading his group. HR Managers are often valued for their creativity in coming up with new ideas and problem-solving. However, this creativity always lies based on common sense. Anyone with experience in the field will agree that it isn't enough to know- one must also have the basic sense to put that knowledge into practice. Therefore, success HR employer must have a common sense, to overcome all the difficulties and challenges that he faced through his work. HR must be an effective communicator. In term of HR practices, one of his duties is to interview the applicant, communicate with departments’ managers, and provide a training program for organization employees and more. So, all these tasks need to be performed by the employer who has good communicating skill. Cool under pressure, this characteristic is substantial for the HR employer which makes him take the proper decision under work pressure. Especially, HR often exposes for many issues, such as sexual harassment, discrimination, and others. And lastly, planning for long-lasting strategic in HR is one of the employer tasks that require him to be so great and efficient to do so.<br />All in all, the HR manager must apply these attributes in his workplace; however, it is not necessary to found all these in one person. As long as the manager can implement the majority of these attributes, he guides his organization to a high rank.<br />II. Management skills<br />With the evolution of HR as a strategic business partner within today's corporations, human resources managers need team-building skills complemented with an ability to "see the big picture" as well as relate to all levels of management and employees, according to the website Careers in Business. Strong leadership, budgeting, writing, presentation, and project management skills benefit all HR professionals, as do an ability to identify talent and familiarity with business principles. Technical skills<br />Scholars approve that manager equip with technical skills is more efficient than other with none skills. HR employer used to be busy with their appointments, work schedule, interview days, training program and so on. So, HR employer must be Familiarity with a variety of software programs used for scheduling, payroll, benefits administration, recruitment, and reporting have become standard qualifications for HR professionals.1 <br />IV. Challenges<br />With the increase of global competitors in the market, the HR manager faces more challenges to pursue their work and processes. One of these challenges is workplace diversity. As we know the globalization has extended to most of the remote places, which leads to outsourcing the workforce from other places in term of decrease the operations cost. And as a result for that conflict often arises among employees. Success employers can avoid that or resettle things with minimum costs. <br />V. Education<br />It is so important for the HRM employer to have an education degree to fill this position. Increasingly, however, Human Resources professionals have both Bachelor's degrees and Master's degrees. Since Human Resources is a highly competitive field, the more education you have, inappropriate subjects, the better your chance for excellent job prospects and a successful career. Now, organization trends to depend more on HRM as a part of organization capabilities. They intend to hire an education person for HRM management to be more effective and efficient. There is a report approved the human resource manager with high education are more suitable and profitable for the firm. An employer with high education has improved the performance of the HR which assures the organization goals and missions.<br /> Besides, success employer has a wide knowledge about the strategic tools to set up their strategy for expanding their workplace. Therefore, HRM employers must have an education degree to be able to face the office challenges. <br />3- Conclusion<br />The employer in HRM who has leadership traits can achieve firm goals. HR employer needs to know what the strategy is and what makes the business tick so the approach to HR can be tailored accordingly. HR strategy needs to be implemented to assure the quality of the performance. As we mentioned before for the fundamental attributes of the successor employer. It is quite difficult to find all these traits representing one person. However, as long as the person who in charge of human resource can to apply the majority of these attributes, he will be qualified to achieve the organization goals and missions. <br />All in all, there are more and more characteristics that recognized the success HRM employer. We have limited these traits to be covered in our report. Whenever the organization is doing well in its operations that mean it has no issue with its workforce. The good HRM employer who overcomes organization issues with a lower level of cost. Maximize benefit, minimize costs.
