The Intelligent Medical Systems Department at AL-Mustaqbal University organized a session entitled “The Ecosystem and Technological Entrepreneurship,” headed by Dr. Samir Ibrahim Abbas, Head of the Intelligent Medical Systems Department. The session was attended by professors from the faculties of engineering and medical technology, and representatives from the “Quality” and “Rehabilitation and Employment” groups, in addition to university students. The session was held on October 16, 2023 in the auditorium of the Engineering Building at Future University.<br /><br />This session comes in implementation of the circular issued by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research earlier regarding enhancing the productive university environment and enabling graduates for entrepreneurship and innovation. It also came as a continuation of the role of Future University in promoting these issues, after its active participation in the ICT Exhibition debate.<br />The session witnessed lectures on the concept of “entrepreneurship” and its role in combating unemployment and enhancing economic activity. Two case studies were also presented that embody the importance of “ecosystem” and entrepreneurship, in addition to providing a historical overview of the ministry’s initiatives that aim to activate the university’s productive environment and enable graduates to pursue entrepreneurship.<br />AL-Mustaqbal University intends to continue implementing initiatives that promote entrepreneurship in general and technological entrepreneurship in particular, in accordance with the local and national environment.
