The Principles of Total Quality Management in the Quranic Stories The story of Dhul-Qarnayn as a Model

Many institutions are seeking at the present time to take advantage of the<br />principles of total quality management which denotes the creation of a particular<br />culture of outstanding performance by which managers<br />and staff work continuously and diligently to fulfil the expectations of the<br />beneficiaries, and by which, moreover, the work is correctly performed from the<br />outset aiming to attain the best achievement with better quality, high<br />efficiency, and in the shortest time possible. As the stories of the Quran is<br />characterized by realism and make use of these stories as models in real life, the<br />purpose of this study is to deduce the most comprehensive quality management<br />principles which the Quranic stories encompass; and particularly from the story<br />of Dhul-Qarnayn. And this can be achieved through presenting practical<br />examples that can be interpreted as prove of the vitality of the commitment<br />to the principles of total quality management in promoting success, power and<br />empowerment.
