<br />In the context of supporting and reinforcing the role of female students in the field of information technology, Teaching Assistant Fatima Thaer Sachit received a letter of appreciation from the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, for her active participation in the "International Girls in ICT Day 2024" celebration.<br /><br />The event was organized by the Media and Communications Authority in collaboration with the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), with regional and international participation. This honor comes in recognition of Fatima Thaer Sachit’s efforts and significant contributions to the field, with the ministry's wishes for her and her colleagues to continue their dedication and excellence in the sector, aiming to bridge the gap between leadership levels and support, and to serve our beloved Iraq.<br /><br />This honor reflects the commitment to sustainable development goals, particularly Goal 5: "Gender Equality."
