<br />In implementation to the Initiative of His Excellency the Iraqi Prime Minister, Al-Mustaqbal University has donated a thousand School Blackboards to Babylon Education, being part of the One Million Blackboards Initiative launched by the Prime Minister.<br />It is remarkable to note that Engineer Mr. Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani, Prime Minister of Iraq, has launched at the beginning of the Year 2024, an Initiative to equip Schools in all Governorates with One Million Blackboards and School Desks. Al-Mustaqbal University has taken the initiative to donate a thousand blackboards to the Schools of Babylon Governorate. These Blackboards have been manufactured with High Quality and by Iraqi hands at the Ministry of Industry Laboratories, being delivered directly to Babylon Education Directorate.<br />We are obliged to note that the Blackboards Delivery Event has witnessed the presence of a High-Level Delegation representing the Prime Minister’s Office headed by Dr. Adnan Al-Sarraj, Prime Minister' Advisor for Education Affairs, and the presence of Prof. Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, as well as the Director General of Education in Babylon Governorate, Mr. Ali Raji Naji, in addition to Mr. Ahmed Al-Mur'ib, Director General of Educational Supervision and Dr. Mahdi Jawad, Director of Equipment at Babylon Education Directorate.<br />We should note as well that Dr. Adnan Al-Sarraj, The Prime Minister's Advisor has visited Al-Mustaqbal University with the accompanying delegation, and he has declared in an interview with the Media that Al-Mustaqbal University has been the first to respond to the initiative launched by His Excellency the Prime Minister, expressing his Thanks and Appreciation to the University President for the great support he provides, covering all Sectors of Society, especially Education, which constitutes one of the most important priorities in the Government Program. As a matter of fact, Al-Mustaqbal University Initiative reflects indeed the National and Responsible Role of the University towards vital Societal Issues.<br />For his part, Prof Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, has extended his Thanks and High Appreciation to the Prime Minister for launching this initiative, as well as his Advisor, Dr. Adnan Al-Sarraj, and the accompanying delegation. There is no doubt that Al-Mustaqbal University does embody, through the Initiative and the support it provides, the integration between the two Ministries of Education and Higher Education with their various Sectors.<br />In another aspect of his Speech, the University President has referred to the Slogan "Towards a Sustainable University" that has been adopted by Al-Mustaqbal University, and thus embodying this practically by working to achieve the UN Sustainable Development Goals. In this regard, the University's Initiative to donate a thousand blackboards contributes in the achievement of SDG 4: Quality Education, as well as SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals.<br />For his part, Mr. Ali Raji Naji Awad, Director General of Education in Babylon Governorate, has extended his Thanks and Appreciation to Al-Mustaqbal University President, praising the Qualitative Initiatives and Support provided by the University to the various segments and sectors in Babylon Governorate, the most recent of which has been its donation of a Thousand Blackboards to the Public Schools, emphasizing that these Schools with this donation shall meet their need, being equipped on time with blackboards so as to proceed effectively on their Educational Process.
