Overall, in vivo analysis is crucial in the study and advancement of implant materials and surfaces to increase osseointegration, resulting in better patient results.<br />Rabbits are frequently utilized for in vivo studies of osseointegration due to their quick bone turnover, which is faster than that of humans; this enables researchers to study the stages of osseointegration in a shorter timeframe. Rabbits are considered a more ethical choice than larger animals due to their lower space and resource requirements. Rabbits are well-suited for in vivo investigations focused on enhancing the comprehension and results of osseointegration in clinical environments due to these considerations.
