Part of the plan of the Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Engineering Department, and according to the instructions given by Prof. Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi, Dean of Al-Mustaqbal University College to study the possibilities of how to rationalize the electrical energy consumption in the college buildings and facilities, and replacing the old cooling devices by other ones cordial to environment, third year students, and under the supervision of engineer Zahra Fakhri, started to check and calculate the cooling devices, totaling the buildings’ loads so as to determine the highest degree of consumption and climax hours. This process shall definitely lead to finding solutions and suggestions related to rationalizing electrical energy consumption and reducing the emission of harmful gases.<br />Assist. Prof. Dr. Azher M. Abed, Head of the Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Engineering Department has declared that Al-Mustaqbal University College always investigates the opportunities for applying the sustainable development goals through the implementation of safety standards to secure work environment, and through the utilization of devices and systems cordial to environment and green buildings. Accordingly, Al-Mustaqbal University College has come First in the UI Green Metric Classification and Second in THE Impact Rankings <br />
