Under the guardianship of Prof. Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi, Dean of Al-Mustaqbal University College, a delegation of academics and students representing the Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Engineering Department paid a visit to the Union Company for Food Industries Ltd. <br />The visit was implemented as per direct instructions given by Assist Prof. Dr. Azher M. Abed, Head of Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Engineering Department, and in coordination with the Students Activities Unit.<br />During the visit, the delegation members were guided in a tour through the various departments of the company, given detailed information about the equipment used in the food industries, and sugar is one of them.<br />They also had a look at the air conditioning and refrigeration systems used in the company, learning about the types and manufacturers of these systems, including “Chiller Boiler Systems”.<br />Students raised lots of question and inquiries related to the systems and equipment of the factory, and the site engineers attempted to suitably give replies. <br />The visit in general resulted in great cooperation and exchange of information between the students and the team of engineers at the company.<br />
