Within the activities and initiatives of the Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Techniques Engineering Department to reinforce students’ skills and knowledge with more practical experiences, and under the direct supervision of Assist. Prof. Dr. Azher M. Abed, Head of Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Engineering Department, an outstanding group of our students, who come from Wasit Governorate, organized a field visit to the “Turkish Hospital Project” as well as the Technical Institute at Kut, Department of Energy Technologies.<br />The students were introduced to the executive plans of the “Turkish Hospital Project”, which is equipped with 400 beds and central cooling systems. The engineers at the hospital site explained to the students the techniques used in operating the central cooling systems.<br />The students also visited the “Center of Renewable Energy” at the Technical Institute of Al-Kut accompanied by the manager of the Center to view and learn about the devices and systems powered by the solar energy and the type of cells used.<br />Al-Mustaqbal University College has been always seeking to implement ambitious plans to expand in using and saving renewable energy together with graduating engineers equipped with academic and practical experiences.
