In order to achieve the slogan "Towards a Sustainable University", the Department of Anesthesia Technology and in order to achieve the third goal of the Sustainable Development Goals (Good Health and Well-Being), the Department of Anesthesia held a scientific seminar entitled "Dioxins and Their Effects", delivered by Professor Dr. Dakhel Al-Zarkani on Tuesday, 12/3/2024. The seminar included a detailed explanation of dioxin compounds, their derivatives and their sources in industry... as well as from the burning of plastic waste in hospitals... and also from pesticides... and their effects on our lives and how they are transferred to the soil and plants and then to humans... The lecture included questions and scientific discussions from the audience.
