In reference to the directives of the President of al-Mustaqal University, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Magdy, and the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Engineering Technologies, Prof. Dr. Azhar Mohsen Abed, regarding the importance of students' participation in making awareness posters.<br />A group of students of the second stage of the Department of Limbs and Prosthetic Supports Engineering presented an awareness poster on the damage of drugs and their negative effects on physical and psychological health under the supervision of Dr. Ahed Hamid Jaaz and Eng. Nour Adnan Madloul.<br />This activity comes within the Women's Affairs Division at the university, and the most prominent points can be summarized as follows:<br /><br />1. Physical Damage:<br /><br />- Destruction of nerve cells in the brain.<br /><br />-Cirrhosis of the liver and brain.<br /><br />- Auditory and visual hallucinations.<br /><br />2. Psychological and mental damage:<br /><br />-Psychological breakdown and memory loss.<br /><br />-Mental illness.<br /><br />3. Social Impacts:<br /><br />-Attempted suicide or attempted murder.
