In order to achieve the slogan "Towards a Sustainable University" and to achieve the third goal of the Sustainable Development Goals (Good Health and Well-Being), the fourth goal (Quality Education) and the seventeenth goal (Partnerships for the Goals), the Department of Anesthesia, in cooperation with the Women's Affairs Unit, organized a scientific symposium entitled: "Assisted Reproductive Technologies: In Vitro Fertilization and Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (IVF-ICSI)", in the Student Activities Hall.<br /><br />The symposium was supervised by Dr. Nour Karim Damd and Dr. Roaa Nashat Al-Saffar, and hosted by Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Ibrahim Rahim, a lecturer at Al-Ameed University/College of Medicine.<br /><br />During the symposium, a general overview of assisted reproductive technologies was reviewed, with a focus on the importance of these technologies and the latest developments in the fields of IVF and ICSI.
