Assistant Lecturer Maher Abdul Ameer organized a workshop titled "The Role of Social Therapy in Autism Treatment" on Monday, February 3, 2025, for engineering students. The workshop aimed to raise awareness about the importance of social therapy in improving the quality of life for individuals with autism, in alignment with the third Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) of Good Health and Well-Being.<br /><br />The workshop discussed the role of social support in enhancing social interaction and communication skills among individuals with autism. It also explored innovative strategies for therapy and highlighted the importance of collaboration between families and the community in providing psychological and social support.<br /><br />The workshop concluded with recommendations to promote awareness and intensify efforts to support individuals with autism, reflecting the college's commitment to sustainability initiatives and achieving well-being for all.
