As part of enhancing the practical knowledge of second-year students in the Biochemistry Department at the College of Science, Al-Mustaqbal University, the Sustainability Ambassadors organized a scientific trip to Al-Waha Company in Babylon, accompanied by Dr. Karrar Majid and Professor Wafa Ghalib Jawad.

During the trip, the students toured the company’s facilities, where they learned about the latest technologies used in production and chemical analysis. They also attended introductory lectures presented by specialists, focusing on industrial processes and the importance of sustainability in this field.

The trip provided students with the unique opportunity to engage with experts, ask questions about the working mechanisms, and gain hands-on knowledge about the practical applications of biochemistry in the industrial sector. This experience helped broaden their horizons and enriched their educational journey by linking theoretical concepts with real-world practices.

This activity is part of the Biochemistry Department’s efforts to create a comprehensive learning environment that bridges theoretical knowledge with practical application, contributing to the development of students' skills and preparing them for the workforce.

Al-Mustaqbal University – The No. 1 University in Iraq
