The Department of Communication Technologies Engineering at Al-Mustaqbal Universitythe leading university among private universities in Iraq – organized a distinguished scientific workshop titled “The Aurora Borealis and its Impact on Communications,” presented by student Zaid Mohammed Al-Azzawi under the direct supervision of Assistant Lecturer Tamam Ali Al-Abadi.<br /><br />The workshop explored the phenomenon of the Aurora Borealis from a scientific and technical perspective, highlighting its direct and indirect effects on communication systems, especially in polar regions and areas with high geographical latitude. The workshop also reviewed the challenges posed by solar activity and ionospheric changes on radio signal transmission, providing scientific analyses and technical solutions to address this unique natural phenomenon.<br /><br />This workshop is part of Al-Mustaqbal University efforts to enhance scientific research and develop students' capabilities in specialized fields, keeping pace with the latest advancements in the world of communications and technology.
