The Al Mostaqbal University (Women's Affairs Division), in collaboration with the Women's Affairs Unit at the Faculty of Engineering and Engineering Technologies, Department of Communication Engineering Technologies, organized an outstanding workshop titled "The Internet at Home" as part of the implementation of the institutional reform and participation pillar (Clause 3). The workshop was supervised by Ms. Amal Abbas, the head of the Women's Affairs Unit in the department, and was presented by students:

- Hawra Jaber Obaid
- Naba Ghith Abbas
On February 8, 2025, under the direct supervision of Engineer Rawa Mohammad Hassan. The workshop focused on the role of the internet in improving daily life at home. It addressed how families can benefit from the internet in various areas such as distance learning, online shopping, healthcare services, and entertainment. The workshop also highlighted the challenges individuals may face when using the internet safely and effectively at home, such as privacy protection and ensuring sustainable internet access.

What stood out was that the two students, despite being in the early stages of their university studies, were able to present precise scientific content in a simple and engaging way for the audience.

On another note, the role of women in this workshop is of particular importance. The two students serve as a living example of women in the fields of technology and engineering, reflecting the significant progress in integrating women into these fields, which were previously dominated by men. This workshop sends an important message about the importance of empowering women in technical fields and highlighting their ability to influence and innovate in this fast-paced era.

The presence of these students in a leadership role in the workshop reflects the efforts made to motivate and encourage female students to engage more in scientific and technical activities, strengthening the position of women in both the academic and technical communities.
