Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Magdy, President of the University, and under the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Azhar Mohsen Abd, Dean of the College of Engineering and Engineering Technologies, Future University organized an in-person workshop entitled “Empowering Girls in the Field of Information and Communications Technology,” in cooperation with the committee charged with implementing the National Strategy for Iraqi Women.

The workshop also included a lecture given by Eng. Dania Tariq from the Department of Chemical Engineering at almustaqbal University, entitled “Renewable Energy and Artificial Intelligence: Towards a More Sustainable Future.” The lecture addressed the importance of shifting towards renewable energy, such as solar, wind and water energy, and the role of artificial intelligence in improving their efficiency. It also reviewed the applications of artificial intelligence in analyzing weather patterns, managing smart power grids, and improving energy storage, which enhances supply stability and reduces waste.
