The English Language Department at the College of Education, Al-Mustaqbal University, organized a workshop titled "University Life Ethics," attended by the Dean of the College of Education, Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Radhan. The workshop aimed to highlight the importance of adhering to academic and ethical values within the university and to familiarize students with their rights and responsibilities throughout their academic journey.<br />The workshop was led by the Head of the Department, Dr. Salam Hassan Maki Al-Asadi, in collaboration with Assistant Professor Ahmed Jundi and Lecturer Dr. Ali Karim Tabk. They discussed the significance of university ethics and how to apply them in daily academic life. Additionally, they addressed the Student Discipline Code and the importance of adhering to university behavioral guidelines to foster a safe and healthy educational environment for all.<br />A special awareness video was presented during the workshop, focusing on the dangers of drug use and its negative impact on students' academic and social lives. The purpose of this presentation was to encourage students to stay away from such harmful behaviors and to make responsible decisions that contribute to their academic and professional success.<br />This workshop aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. It supports Goal 4, Quality Education, by raising awareness about the appropriate behaviors students should adopt. It also contributes to Goal 8, Decent Work and Economic Growth, by enabling students to develop their personal and academic skills while avoiding behaviors that may hinder their progress.
