Scientific Workshop on Frog Dissection at the Department of Kidney Dialysis Techniques

In Pursuit of Achieving Sustainable Development Goals, Especially Goal 4: Quality Education, Al-Mustaqbal University / College of Health and Medical Technologies / Department of Kidney Dialysis Techniques Organized a Workshop on Frog Dissection<br /><br />The workshop, executed and supervised by the Department Head, M.M. Zainab Ali Mohsen, took place on January 9, 2025.<br />The workshop involved the dissection of a frog’s body after it was anesthetized with diluted ethanol. Students were introduced to the various organ systems of the frog and learned about the physiology of the organs. Key systems explored included the circulatory system, with a focus on the heart and its function, the respiratory system, and the urinary system, where students were introduced to the components of the urinary system, including the kidneys, ureters, and bladder.<br />This workshop was designed to enhance students' knowledge of human physiology, complementing the theoretical lessons covered in previous lectures. It provided an interactive and engaging experience, greatly benefiting the students, who expressed their enthusiasm and appreciation for the opportunity to deepen their understanding.<br /><br />Al-Mustaqbal University remains the leading university in Iraq.
