Visit of the Educational Guidance Unit to the Department of Building and Construction Technology Engineering

Under the supervision of the Head of the Department of Building and Construction Technologies Engineering, Dr. Mayada Wahid Falah, and in alignment with Goal 4: Quality Education, the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit held a meeting with first-year students of the Department of Building and Construction Technologies Engineering on Sunday, January 12, 2025, during the evening session.<br /><br />The meeting covered the following key topics:<br />Guiding students on the importance of attendance and avoiding absences, as their academic stage follows the Bologna System, which is closely monitored by the Ministry. Students were also reminded to regularly check their accounts to stay updated on important announcements, lecture materials, and their attendance records.<br /><br />Encouraging students to participate in extracurricular and academic activities, especially since many of them are government employees. Their skills and expertise can be utilized to develop sustainable projects that benefit both the university and the community under the supervision of their professors.<br /><br />Promoting mutual respect among students, as well as between students and faculty members, while emphasizing the importance of ethical conduct and adherence to university regulations.<br /><br />Instilling in students the mindset of future engineers, encouraging them to reflect this through their behavior, engagement, and commitment to lectures throughout their academic journey.<br /><br />Providing support for students facing psychological or academic challenges, assuring them that the Counseling Unit at the Dean's Office and departmental guidance committees are always ready to listen and assist in resolving issues amicably and effectively.
