The Media Department at AL-MUSTAQBAL University organized a scientific symposium titled "The Use of Artificial Intelligence Programs in the Educational Process," attended by evening study students. The symposium was presented by Lecturer Abdul Kadhem Mohammed Aswed and Assistant Lecturer Abdul Rahman Abbas Al-Zubaidi, as part of the department's efforts to develop students' scientific skills and achieve the fourth goal of sustainable development related to quality education.<br />The symposium aimed to introduce students to the concept of artificial intelligence, its importance, and its various applications, particularly in the educational field. It also discussed the most prominent AI tools used in academic and educational contexts, with a focus on the revolutionary ChatGPT and its role in transforming education.<br />The symposium also addressed the future of artificial intelligence and the potential negative impacts of its uses, which may lead to the replacement of the human mind in some fields or enhance human interaction with technology.
