The Sustainability Ambassadors at the Department of Intelligent Medical Systems/College of Science organized an outstanding awareness workshop on "Coursera" educational platforms, presented by Professor Dr. Mahdi Abadi Mani, Head of the Department of Intelligent Medical Systems, and Mr. Qusay Munir Diab, Quality Unit Manager. The workshop aimed to highlight the importance of Coursera platforms in enhancing self-learning and developing academic and professional skills for students.<br /><br />During the workshop, discussions focused on how to use Coursera's educational platforms to improve participants' skills and increase their opportunities in the job market. Additionally, ways to enhance e-learning and expand learning horizons beyond geographical limitations were addressed. The benefits of digital education were also emphasized, demonstrating how it can serve as an effective tool to improve education standards and individual development.<br /><br />The workshop also contributed to achieving several Sustainable Development Goals. It supported Goal 4 (Quality Education) by providing participants with access to high-quality education through Coursera platforms. It also contributed to achieving Goal 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth) by enabling participants to acquire new skills that would help them compete in the job market.
