Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Magdy, President of the University of AL_mustaqbal , and under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Furat Hamza, Dean of the College of Science, the faculty members of the Physics Department (Asst. Lect. Fatima Basim, Asst. Lect. Sukaina Talib Khairallah, Asst. Lect. Al-Shaimaa Firas Mohammed Redha) organized a workshop titled “Environmental Pollution and Its Hazards: Challenges and Sustainable Solutions.”<br /><br />The workshop aimed to shed light on the dangers of environmental pollution and its negative impacts on public health and natural resources. It also discussed scientific solutions and modern technologies to mitigate this issue. Additionally, the workshop focused on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly:<br /> • Goal 3: Good Health and Well-being<br /> • Goal 6: Clean Water and Sanitation<br /> • Goal 7: Affordable and Clean Energy<br /> • Goal 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities<br /> • Goal 13: Climate Action<br /><br />The workshop witnessed distinguished participation from students and researchers, featuring interactive lectures, informative presentations, and scientific discussions on ways to enhance environmental awareness and implement sustainable practices to preserve the environment for future generations.<br /><br />"AL_mustaqbal University is the first university in Iraq"
