"Visit of the Head of the English Department at the College of Education, Al-Mustaqbal University, to the University of Karbala in Preparation for Signing a Scientific Partnership Agreement"

As part of efforts to enhance academic collaboration and strengthen ties with esteemed educational institutions, Lecturer Dr. Salam Hassan Maki Al-Asadi, Head of the English Department at the College of Education, Al-Mustaqbal University, visited the University of Karbala to explore ways to enhance scientific and research cooperation between the two universities. The visit aimed to pave the way for signing a scientific partnership agreement focused on knowledge exchange and curriculum development in line with the latest advancements in English language teaching.<br />Dr. Salam Hassan Maki Al-Asadi was warmly received by the Head of the English Department at the University of Karbala, accompanied by the department’s academic staff. Extensive discussions were held regarding mechanisms for joint collaboration, including the organization of shared training programs, workshops, and research seminars that contribute to developing teaching competencies and fostering opportunities for collaborative research. Additionally, the possibilities of faculty and student exchange programs between the two universities were discussed to maximize academic resources and expertise.<br />Sustainable Development at Al-Mustaqbal University<br />This visit aligns with Al-Mustaqbal University’s strategic commitment to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly: Goal 4 (Quality Education): Through academic knowledge exchange and the development of advanced educational curricula. And Goal 17 (Partnerships for the Goals): By establishing academic cooperation agreements that contribute to sustainable development in higher education.<br />At the conclusion of the visit, the Head of the English Department at the College of Education, Al-Mustaqbal University, expressed his satisfaction with the productive discussions, emphasizing that this step will strengthen academic relations between the two universities, open new horizons for scientific research, and enhance students' linguistic skills.
