As part of Al-Mustaqbal University's efforts to enhance digital education and develop e-learning skills, the Sustainability Ambassadors from the Department of Intelligent Medical Systems organized a distinguished workshop titled "How to Design Group Learning Sessions Online." The workshop was presented by Professor Dr. Mehdi Abadi Mani, Head of the Department of Intelligent Medical Systems, who discussed the methods and techniques for designing effective group learning sessions using online education platforms. The workshop also featured contributions from Engineer Ali Salim Halim, Head of Activities in the department, and Miss Huda Khuder Hani, Activities Member in the department, who provided additional insights on how to organize and manage these sessions to foster greater interaction and active participation from students.<br /><br />The workshop focused on how to utilize available technological tools to design successful group learning sessions and presented several strategies that help educators implement e-learning in an innovative and impactful way. It also emphasized the importance of well-structured sessions to ensure that valuable and engaging educational content is delivered, thus improving the learning experience for students.<br /><br />Participants discussed how to effectively manage time and lead group discussions in a way that maintains student engagement throughout the sessions. Various interactive tools were also introduced to encourage students to participate and innovate during the learning process, such as educational games, interactive group activities, and presentations that foster critical thinking.<br /><br />In this context, the relationship between e-learning and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) was highlighted. Participants pointed out the importance of using technology in education to achieve Goal 4 of the SDGs, which focuses on providing quality education. E-learning has played a crucial role in expanding access to education under various circumstances, ensuring that education becomes accessible to everyone, even in remote areas or during emergencies.<br /><br />Additionally, the role of Goal 9, related to Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure, was emphasized. The advancement of modern technologies in education enhances digital infrastructure and encourages innovation in teaching methods, contributing to the overall improvement of the quality of education worldwide.<br /><br />Regarding Goal 10, which addresses reducing inequalities, participants highlighted that e-learning helps bridge educational gaps between different groups. It provides equal opportunities for all students to access education, regardless of their location or social background.<br /><br />The workshop received positive feedback from participants who expressed their appreciation for the presented methods and the valuable content shared.
