The Sustainability Ambassadors at the College of Science – Department of Smart Medical Systems organized an awareness campaign titled "Smoking and Addiction: How the Habit Begins and How to Stop?" The campaign was presented by the activities coordinator of the department, Assistant Lecturer Ali Salem Hlim, with the participation of the department’s staff.<br /><br />The campaign highlighted the factors leading to smoking addiction, the health and psychological consequences, and effective strategies to help individuals quit. The campaign saw significant interaction from both students and faculty members, reflecting the university's commitment to promoting health awareness within the university community.<br /><br />This initiative is part of the university's efforts to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 3: Good Health and Well-being, by raising awareness of health risks, and Goal 4: Quality Education, by providing educational content that contributes to building a more informed and healthier society.<br />University of Al-Mustaqbal is the first university in Iraq.
