Practical Training to Enhance the Skills of Prosthetics and Orthotics Engineering Students

<br />Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Engineering and Engineering Technologies, **Asst. Prof. Dr. Azhar Mohsen Abdul**, and under the supervision of the Head of the Prosthetics and Orthotics Engineering Department, **Prof. Dr. Mohammed Hamza Al-Maamuri**, with the follow-up of the department's rapporteur, **Asst. Prof. Dr. Mujtaba Abdul-Kadhim Faleh**, the department organized a practical training session for second-year students. The aim was to develop their practical skills and bridge the gap between academic knowledge and real-world applications. <br /><br />The event took place on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, at **Al-Furat Al-Awsat University / Al-Kufa Technical Institute / Prosthetics and Orthotics Technologies Department**. A delegation of faculty members accompanied the students, including **Asst. Lecturer Montadhar Saleh Mahdi**, a lecturer in prosthetics, and **Engineer Aya Talib Hassan**, a teaching assistant in the prosthetics and orthotics laboratory. <br /><br />This training aligns with the university’s efforts to enhance student competencies and prepare them for the job market, in line with **Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education) **, ensuring the graduation of well-qualified professionals who keep pace with advancements in this vital field.
