Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Education at Al-Mustaqbal University, Asst. Prof. Dr. Ahmed Rawdan, from the English Department, organized an extensive tree-planting campaign in the college gardens. The activity was supervised by Asst. Lecturer Istabraq Waleed and witnessed active participation from the department's students, as part of Sustainability Week initiatives.<br />The campaign aimed to expand green spaces within the university campus and to promote environmental awareness and social responsibility among students, which is in line with modern environmental trends and the university’s commitment to sustainable development goals.<br />During the event, Asst. Prof. Dr. Ahmed Rawdan emphasized the importance of such initiatives, highlighting their positive impact on the university environment and their role in enhancing the quality of life. He also stressed the college's dedication to organizing activities that foster a generation that is mindful of sustainability issues.<br />This campaign is part of Al-Mustaqbal University’s continuous efforts to achieve the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly:<br />• Goal 3 (Good Health and Well-being): improving the campus’s environmental and psychological well-being.<br />• Goal 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities): increasing green spaces and enhancing the environmental infrastructure.<br />• Goal 13 (Climate Action): contributing to mitigating the effects of climate change.<br />• Goal 17 (Partnerships for the Goals): Strengthen collaboration between the academic administration and students to achieve environmental objectives.<br />After the campaign, Asst.
