Under the esteemed patronage of the Dean of the College of Education, Asst. Prof. Dr. Ahmed Rawdan, and with the direct supervision of the Head of the English Department, Asst. Prof. Dr. Salam Hassan Maki Al-Asadi, the English Department at the College of Education – Al-Mustaqbal University organized a football championship for its students. The event was coordinated and overseen by Asst. Lecturer Baraa Sattar, who managed all arrangements for the tournament as part of the department’s extracurricular activities aimed at fostering teamwork and collaboration among students.<br />The championship witnessed wide participation and a high level of sportsmanship among the competing student teams, creating an atmosphere of enthusiasm and healthy competition. The event also aimed to strengthen communication and social bonds among students within a supportive and engaging university environment.<br />This championship aligns with the College of Education’s commitment to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly:<br />• Goal 3 (Good Health and Well-being): by encouraging students to engage in sports activities that enhance their physical and mental health.<br />• Goal 4 (Quality Education): by providing a holistic learning environment that integrates both academic and extracurricular activities.<br />• Goal 17 (Partnerships for the Goals): by promoting collaboration between faculty members and students to organize meaningful activities within the university.<br />Asst.
