Animal husbandry in farms requires careful management of the environment, as temperature, humidity, and nutrition play a vital role in the health and productivity of animals. Smart barns provide innovative solutions by utilizing sensors and IoT technologies to monitor and automatically adjust environmental conditions.
These systems allow monitoring of animal health by measuring their temperature and activity levels, helping detect any early signs of illness. Smart barns can also control ventilation, lighting, and food distribution based on the animals' needs, ensuring a more comfortable and productive environment.
One of the primary benefits of this technology is the reduction in the need for continuous human intervention, allowing farmers to focus on improving productivity instead of routine tasks. Additionally, the use of big data to analyze animal health can help develop better care strategies.
With the increasing demand for sustainable agricultural solutions, smart barns are expected to become a new standard in animal husbandry, enhancing productivity while ensuring the welfare of animals simultaneously.

Al-Mustaqbal University is the first University in Iraq.
