Poultry farming is an industry that requires close monitoring of the environment to ensure the health of the birds and achieve high productivity. Smart farm systems rely on artificial intelligence and the Internet of Things to monitor vital factors within the farm, such as temperature, humidity, and air quality, improving the farming conditions.
These systems use sensors to monitor bird behavior, food, and water consumption, helping to detect early signs of health or environmental issues that could affect productivity. AI can also analyze the data and provide farmers with automatic recommendations for adjustments needed in the farm environment.
One of the critical benefits of these technologies is the reduction in the use of antibiotics by improving farming conditions, which enhances product quality and overall consumer health. Additionally, they help reduce operational costs by optimizing the use of resources like water and electricity.
As technology continues to progress in this field, smart farms are expected to play a key role in ensuring sustainable agricultural production, striking a balance between profitability and environmental protection.

Al-Mustaqbal University is the first University in Iraq.
