Sustainability Project: Manufacturing a Tool to Assist People with Disabilities Using PETG Material <br /><br />As part of efforts to promote sustainability and innovation, the Sustainability Ambassadors in the Department of Prosthetics and Orthotics Engineering have designed and manufactured a specialized tool to assist individuals with disabilities, under the supervision of Eng. Ghadeer Haider Abbas. <br /><br />The tool was manufactured using PETG material, known for its durability and flexibility, making it ideal for medical and rehabilitative applications. This project aims to provide innovative and sustainable solutions for people with disabilities. The tool was donated to the department’s laboratory to be available for students and researchers to develop new solutions and enhance the quality of life for beneficiaries.<br />In alignment with the third Sustainable Development Goal (Good Health and Well-Being).<br />This project reflects the Department of Prosthetics and Orthotics Engineering’s commitment to offering practical and sustainable solutions. It also strengthens students' active participation in developing assistive technologies that serve the community.
