Plastic surgery has significantly advanced thanks to robotics technology, which enhances surgical precision and reduces complications. Robotic-assisted surgery provides an unprecedented level of accuracy, allowing surgeons to perform cosmetic procedures with greater safety and efficiency.
These robots operate through advanced control systems, such as the "Da Vinci Surgical System," which enables surgeons to perform complex procedures using ultra-precise surgical instruments controlled remotely. This system offers enhanced 3D vision and the ability to execute highly precise movements, minimizing errors common in traditional surgeries.
A key advantage of using robotics in plastic surgery is minimizing surgical intervention, leading to faster recovery times and reduced scarring. For example, robots can be used in hair transplants, facelifts, and liposuction, providing patients with more natural and symmetrical results.
Additionally, AI assists in pre-surgical planning, where 3D computer models can accurately predict surgery outcomes, allowing doctors and patients to visualize expected results before the procedure.
However, this technology faces challenges such as high costs and the need for extensive training for surgeons. Nevertheless, with technological progress and wider adoption, robotics will become an integral part of future plastic surgery.

Al-Mustaqbal University is the first one university in Iraq.
