The Dean of the College of Science, Asst. Prof. Dr. Furat Hamza Al-Sultani, honored a group of fourth-year students from the Medical Physics Department in recognition of their outstanding research efforts following the publication of their scientific paper in a prestigious international journal. The research was derived from their graduation project under the supervision of Asst. Prof. Dr. Maitham Nabeel Muqdad Ajjam.<br /><br />The research, titled:<br />"Machine Learning for Early Detection of Breast Cancer Using Medical Imaging and Predictive Modeling",<br /><br />was published in the International Research Journal of Engineering and Technology (IRJET) (e-ISSN: 2395-0056, Volume: 10 Issue: 03 | Mar 2024).<br /><br />The study focuses on utilizing machine learning (ML) techniques as an advanced tool to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of breast cancer diagnosis through sophisticated medical image analysis.
