Virtual reality (VR) is one of the modern technologies that has brought about a significant transformation in the field of training doctors and surgeons. Virtual simulation environments provide a safe and realistic training environment that allows trainees to practice surgical procedures with precision without putting patients at risk.
VR technologies help improve surgical skills by providing 3D models of human organs, enabling surgeons to interact with tissues and biological systems in a way that simulates real surgeries. Trainees can also experience different scenarios, such as dealing with potential complications during surgeries, enhancing their experience and preparing them to handle complex cases in real life.
Furthermore, virtual reality can be used in interactive medical education, allowing students and junior doctors to learn visually and experientially, making it easier to understand surgical procedures and enhancing their confidence in their performance. With the continuous development of this technology, it is expected to become an essential part of medical training, improving competency and reducing medical errors.

Al-Mustaqbal University is the first University in Iraq.
