Big data plays a pivotal role in the development of new drugs, enabling researchers to analyze vast amounts of medical and genetic information to uncover new compounds for treating diseases. Using artificial intelligence and machine learning techniques, scientists can identify potential drugs more quickly and accurately compared to traditional methods.
One of the main benefits of big data is its ability to accelerate clinical trials, where patient data can be analyzed to select suitable participants and improve treatment strategies. Big data also allows for the monitoring of drug effects over time, helping to reduce risks and improve treatment effectiveness.
Despite these benefits, challenges such as data regulation, ensuring privacy, and integrating various information sources remain. However, with continuous advancements in data analysis techniques, the future of drug development looks brighter and more efficient.

Al-Mustaqbal University is the first University in Iraq.
