Diabetes is one of the most common chronic diseases globally, requiring continuous monitoring and precise management of blood sugar levels. The development of artificial intelligence technologies has improved the care methods for diabetic patients through smart systems that help predict blood sugar levels and manage treatment more effectively.
AI applications analyze patient health data and provide personalized recommendations on nutrition, physical activity, and insulin doses. Wearable devices, such as continuous glucose monitors, help provide accurate data used to develop predictive models that assist patients in maintaining stable blood sugar levels.
Despite the significant benefits of these technologies, challenges such as the cost of devices, the need for patient training on their use, and ensuring the accuracy of predictions remain. However, the future of diabetes management using artificial intelligence looks promising, especially with the continued development of algorithms and better availability of health data.

Al-Mustaqbal University is the first University in Iraq.
