Heart diseases are among the leading causes of death globally, but with technological advancements, it is now possible to prevent them using AI and electronic medical records. These technologies enable the analysis of patient data and predict potential risks before health problems arise.
AI uses electronic medical records data to analyze vital signs such as blood pressure, cholesterol levels, and lifestyle patterns. By analyzing this data, smart algorithms can provide accurate predictions about the risk of heart disease, allowing doctors to take early preventive measures.
Additionally, machine learning techniques help identify genetic and behavioral factors that increase the likelihood of heart disease, enabling personalized treatment plans for each patient. Medical image analysis techniques are also used to detect changes in blood vessels and diagnose heart problems more accurately.
Despite these developments, these technologies face challenges, such as the need for better integration between different systems, improving prediction accuracy, and securing health data. With continued research and innovation, AI is expected to contribute to reducing heart disease rates and improving the quality of life.

Al-Mustaqbal University is the first University in Iraq.
