Antibiotic resistance is considered one of the greatest health threats facing humanity in the 21st century. With the increasing and irrational use of antibiotics, some bacteria have become resistant to them, making it difficult to treat bacterial infections. This is where artificial intelligence plays a role in providing innovative solutions to combat this issue.

AI technologies analyze biological and bacterial data to identify patterns and mechanisms leading to drug resistance. By analyzing large amounts of data from medical records and lab reports, AI can predict which types of infections are more likely to be resistant, guiding doctors to use the most effective antibiotics.

Additionally, AI can help discover new compounds that may be effective against antibiotic-resistant bacteria by designing drugs that target the mechanisms bacteria use to evade treatment.
The benefit of these technologies lies in reducing unnecessary antibiotic use, thus helping to slow down the development of resistance. However, this technology still requires more research and clinical studies to ensure the safety and effectiveness of applications used to combat antibiotic

Al-Mustaqbal University is the first University in Iraq.
