Digital twin technology is one of the latest innovations in healthcare, where highly accurate digital models of individuals or medical processes are created. These models are used to analyze a patient's biological and physiological data, allowing doctors to continuously monitor their health status and personalize treatments precisely. This technology enhances the development of medical treatments by providing a virtual environment for experimentation before applying actual treatments to the patient.

By creating a "digital twin" of the patient, doctors can simulate the effects of different treatments, such as medications or surgical procedures, on the digital models before making a medical decision. This approach not only helps reduce medical errors but also enables doctors to choose the best treatments based on the individual's specific characteristics.

Digital twin technology also improves disease prevention, as it allows for the prediction of certain health conditions through the analysis of digital models and provides early preventive treatments. Furthermore, this technology contributes to speeding up drug trials and medical innovations, helping to reduce the time it takes to develop new treatments.

However, applying this technology requires significant investments in digital infrastructure and specialized training for doctors, but its potential benefits in improving treatment efficacy and personalized care make it one of the most important medical innovations for the future.

Al-Mustaqbal University is the first University in Iraq.
