The College of Education organizes an awareness-raising event to explain the concept of sustainable development and its objectives, with the participation of academic departments and the official presence of the Dean of the College and the University President.<br />As part of the College of Education's efforts to consolidate modern educational concepts and enhance student awareness of contemporary issues, the College of Education organized a joint scientific awareness event between the Department of Qur'anic Sciences and Islamic Education and the Department of Psychological and Educational Sciences. The event, held in the university's Grand Ali Abdul Razzaq Hall, addressed the concept of sustainable development and its educational, social, and environmental objectives.<br />The event witnessed a distinguished official presence, including the University President and the Dean of the College of Education, along with heads of academic departments, and a number of professors, lecturers, and students.<br />The event opened with a welcoming speech delivered by Ms. Ashhad, in which she praised the efforts made by academic departments in keeping pace with global developments and linking them to educational curricula in light of the philosophy and mission of education. She also highlighted the importance of spreading the culture of sustainable development within the university community and activating students' roles in building a conscious and productive future. The program included several topics, most notably:<br />Sustainable development and its goals from an educational and Islamic perspective, presented by Dr. Atheer Karim Al-Hasnawi, a lecturer in the Department of Qur'anic Sciences and Islamic Education, who explained how religious values enhance environmental and social awareness.<br />The psychological and social dimensions of sustainable development were addressed by Ms. Amal Mohammed, a lecturer in the Department of Psychological and Educational Sciences, who discussed the impact of individual and societal behavior on achieving development goals.<br />The role of the university student in achieving sustainable development was discussed through an interactive workshop that witnessed significant student interaction and resulted in a number of practical recommendations.<br />At the conclusion of the event, the university president expressed his appreciation for this initiative, stressing the importance of continuing such scientific activities that contribute to building student awareness that reflects the university's aspirations for excellence and leadership.<br />The University of the Future is ranked first among Al-Mustaqbal universities.
