In alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals, the Department of Medical Biotechnology at Al-Mustaqbal University – College of Sciences held an in-person student workshop titled “Immunosuppressants and Immunostimulants,” presented by the student Ahmed Saad Mohammed.<br />This activity contributes to achieving Goal 4 of the Sustainable Development Goals: Quality Education.<br /><br />Immunosuppressants:<br />These are drugs or substances used to suppress or reduce the activity of the immune system. They are commonly used to prevent organ transplant rejection or to treat autoimmune diseases such as lupus and rheumatoid arthritis.<br /><br />Immunostimulants:<br />These are substances used to stimulate or enhance the immune response. They are typically used in cases of immunodeficiency, to prevent infections, or sometimes in immunotherapy for cancer.<br /><br />Al-Mustaqbal University – The First University in Iraq.
