As part of the College of Education’s ongoing efforts at Al-Mustaqbal University to promote ethical and educational awareness among students, the English Department organized a guidance workshop titled "Thinking Well of Others", presented by the Head of Department, Asst. Prof. Dr. Salam Al-Asadi, with the attendance of a group of students.<br />The workshop focused on the importance of instilling the value of positive thinking and goodwill toward others within the university environment, emphasizing its role in strengthening human relationships and fostering a spirit of cooperation and mutual respect between students and faculty members. It also addressed the psychological and social aspects of having good assumptions about others, and how to develop this trait as part of sound education and self-awareness.<br />The session witnessed active engagement from the students, who participated in discussions and shared insights that reflected their awareness of the importance of building a positive atmosphere free from prejudice and misunderstanding.<br />This workshop aligns with Al-Mustaqbal University’s commitment to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly:<br />Goal 4 (Quality Education): by promoting ethical education as an integral part of quality learning.<br />Goal 16 (Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions): through supporting a university environment based on understanding and trust.<br />Goal 17 (Partnerships for the Goals): by encouraging collaboration among departments and faculty to spread cultural and human awareness.<br />Al-Mustaqbal University – The First University in Iraq.
