As part of its commitment to advancing education and sustainable technological development, the Department of Communication Techniques Engineering organized a distinguished scientific workshop titled:<br /><br />“The Digital Revolution in Dentistry: The Impact of Drones and Communication Technologies in Accelerating Clinical Innovations”<br /><br />The workshop was presented by Assistant Lecturer Tamam Ali Al-Abbadi, Head of the Sustainability Ambassadors Committee in the department. It was attended by the Head of the Department, faculty members, sustainability ambassadors, and a number of students from the department.<br /><br />The workshop explored a modern and integrated theme linking drone technologies (UAVs) and smart communication systems with the field of digital dentistry, illustrating how these technologies can enhance innovation in the medical field through:<br /><br />Accelerating diagnostic processes and the transfer of clinical data<br /><br />Developing communication systems between clinics and medical laboratories<br /><br />Supporting research and clinical experiments through advanced digital tools<br /><br />Enabling doctors to use artificial intelligence and drones in examination and imaging services<br /><br />This workshop falls within the framework of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), especially:<br /><br />Good Health and Well-being (Goal 3)<br /><br />Quality Education (Goal 4)<br /><br />Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure (Goal 9)<br /><br />Partnerships for the Goals (Goal 17)<br /><br />Assistant Lecturer Tamam Ali Al-Abbadi is considered one of the university’s outstanding young academic talents, known for his passion for connecting engineering disciplines with emerging and interdisciplinary fields.
