Artificial intelligence has become an essential tool in the pharmaceutical industry, especially in the pre-clinical trial phase. Before a drug is tested on humans, experimental studies are required to understand its potential effects on the body. AI is used to analyze biological and chemical data to simulate the effects of drugs on human cells and tissues, helping to reduce the need for animal testing and increasing the accuracy of results.

Through machine learning, smart models can analyze how a drug affects specific processes within the body, such as absorption, distribution, and how it impacts various tissues. These analyses can predict potential side effects and assist in determining the correct dosage of the drug.

AI is also used to analyze large chemical and biological datasets related to drugs. Based on these analyses, scientists can make better decisions about which drugs are the safest and most effective, reducing the time and costs associated with conducting clinical trials.

Al-Mustaqbal University is the first University in Iraq.
