As part of its active participation in "Future Sustainability Week", organized by Future University, the Department of Intelligent Medical Systems at the College of Science launched a distinguished awareness initiative aimed at promoting health awareness among students and the community. The initiative focused on providing both practical and theoretical demonstrations on the use of blood pressure and glucose monitoring devices.
The activity included detailed explanations of how to properly use these medical devices and highlighted their importance in the early detection of chronic health conditions such as hypertension and diabetes. It also addressed the health risks that can be prevented through regular and consistent monitoring of vital body signs.
Informative brochures, designed by the department’s students, were distributed as part of the initiative. These brochures clearly explained the steps for using the devices, how to read the results, and the normal ranges for blood pressure and glucose levels—all under the campaign slogan “Your Health in Your Hands.”
This initiative reflects the department’s vision of utilizing smart technologies to serve public health and promote sustainability through community education. It aligns with Future University’s broader goals of building an informed and health-conscious society capable of addressing health and environmental challenges.

Al-Mustaqbal University is the first University in Iraq.
