The Department of Dentistry at Al-Mustaqbal University College held an electronic scientific symposium entitled (Recurent Carreies) today, Thursday, 12/16/2021, at nine in the evening, on the (google meet) platform. Lecturer in the Department of Dentistry (Assem Karim Nasr), and the symposium witnessed the participation of the Head of the Dental Department, Prof. Dr. Athraa Yahya Mohammed Al-Hijazi , and a group of dental department teachers. The symposium talked about the frequent decay that occurs under existing dental fillings, and this decay is caused by poor oral hygiene or by the effect of bacteria on fermentable carbohydrates in the biofilms on the surfaces of the teeth.<br />It is noteworthy that the Department of Dentistry continues to hold scientific symposia, both in person and electronically, since the beginning of the first course of the current academic year.
