Remote Learning Workshop: "How to Design Online Group Learning Sessions".

As part of Al-Mustaqbal University’s efforts to promote digital education and develop e-learning skills, the Sustainability Ambassadors in the Department of Smart Medical Systems organized a remote workshop titled "How to Design Online Group Learning Sessions." The workshop was led by Professor Dr. Mahdi Abadi Mani’, Head of the Department, with contributions from Assistant Lecturer Ali Salim Halim, Activities Officer, and Ms. Huda Khudair Hani, a member of the Activities Committee.<br /><br />The workshop covered methods and techniques for designing effective group learning sessions through remote learning platforms, with a focus on utilizing modern technological tools and strategies to boost student engagement. It also emphasized the importance of effective time management, managing group discussions, and employing interactive tools such as educational games and group activities to encourage critical thinking and active participation.<br /><br />The session linked distance education to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), highlighting the role of technology in supporting Goal 4 (Quality Education) by expanding access to education, Goal 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure) through the development of digital infrastructure, and Goal 10 (Reduced Inequalities) by narrowing educational gaps among different groups.<br /><br />The workshop witnessed strong engagement from the participants, who expressed their appreciation for the content and emphasized the importance of continuing such initiatives to enhance e-learning skills and support sustainable development in the field of education.<br /><br />Al-Mustaqbal University is the first University in Iraq.<br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br />
