At the Forefront Stands Physics, the Cornerstone for Understanding Many Environmental Phenomena, Including Air Pollution and Radioactive Contamination, Two of the Most Dangerous Types of Pollution Affecting Human Health and the Environment.<br /><br />1. Physics and Air Pollution<br />Air pollution results from car emissions, industrial processes, and incomplete fuel combustion. From a physical perspective, air pollution can be analyzed through:<br /><br />The motion and dispersion of fine particles and gases, using the laws of motion and thermodynamics.<br /><br />Measurement of harmful gases such as carbon monoxide and nitrogen dioxide, using techniques based on infrared and laser spectroscopy.<br /><br />Remote sensing via satellites, an advanced branch of physics that enables the monitoring of air pollutants on a wide scale, with high spatial and temporal accuracy.<br /><br />2. Physics and Radioactive Contamination<br />Radioactive pollution is invisible to the naked eye, yet its dangers can be deadly.
